My Adventure

A Peak into my School Years

I did not finish the eighth grade. By that time, my life had taken its twists and turns. I was my daddy"s girl then lost him to a car accident. That lead to some hard times in my family and changed the course of my life forever. I later fell in love with Philip Hall. I had my first child at age 16 and became a homemaker.

2nd Grade Class Photo

1958

This is my second grade class. I was the teacher"s pet. She loved me.

3rd Grade Class Photo

1959

Once again, I was the teacher"s pet. Donna Shumaker, in the center with braids, was my best friend at the time.

Royal Neighbors of America

1960

This is a photo of everyone in my group. We were a neighborhood club that came together to learn new skills and do exciting things. You can consider Royal Neighbors of America as being similar Boys and Girls Club.

This photo was taken of our acting crew in a play we did. It was a lot of fun.

Yes. I kind of got lost in the crowd! From top left, second row, second person.

5th Grade Class Photo

1961

This is the last class photo taken of me while I was going to school in Polson, Montana. I was in the 5th grade.

In the 6th grade I went to middle school at Emma Dickson, off 3rd street in Missoula. My two boys, Stacy and Phil, also went to Emma Dickson about 10 years later where they attended the first and second grade.

Maturity Begins

This is the last class photo I ever stood in. It was taken at Emma Dickson Middle School, off 3rd street in Missoula. My two boys, Stacy and Phil, also went to Emma Dickson about 10 years later where they attended the first and second grade.

I never made it to the 8th grade, before getting married and having children of my own.

My Comments

These photos have notes written on the back of them. I will be including those in a future edit.

These are the only school photos I have. I am sure there are many more that were taken by other folks, that are in the photo albums of the family members of my classmates and the kids I grew up with. We are all in our late ages now, or have already passed away. I am 73. The one thing that tends to make me lonely is that fact that most of my classmates have passed away.
